For aspiring professional pilots, the journey begins long before setting foot in a real cockpit. The Path to Pilot program offers a powerful first step toward a career in aviation, blending immersive VR flight training with foundational aviation education.

Steps to Career Pilot.
Take the First Step!

  • Step 1 (11 - 18 y/o): Path to Pilot provides early exposure through Read, Watch, Do curriculum based on the Airman Certification Standards (ACS) paired with Immersive VR flight simulation.

  • Step 2 (15 - 17 y/o): Private Pilot License (PPL Solo at 16, Private Pilot 17)

  • Step 3 (17 - 18 y/o): Instrument Rating

  • Step 4 (17 - 18 y/o): Commercial Pilot Certificate

  • Step 5 (18 y/o): Become a flight instructor

  • Step 6 Accumulate flight hours (typically 1,500 for airlines)

  • Step 7 Earn a Multi-Engine Rating and Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) Certificate

  • Step 8 (21 y/o): Begin a professional flying career with regional or major airlines

By mastering core maneuvers in a high-fidelity VR environment, students increase confidence and safety, reduce training time, lower costs, and gain clarity on their goals before ever entering a real aircraft.

On average students that complete the Path to Pilot program solo 30% sooner, complete their Private Pilot rating 18% faster than those who don’t. The average number of flight hours to complete the private pilot certification is 75 hours while the FAA minimum requirement is 40 hours for private pilot.
